To celebrate the holy month of Ramazan, ISIS, Islamic State militants have decided to organize a Quran memorization contest and surprisingly, the reward for top 3 contest winners will be sex slaves.
The competition?
ISIS militant group announced a Quran memorization contest in which participants have to memorise the most warlike passages in the entire book, since the militants believe that Ramazan is the ideal time for religious extremism. Interested candidates are asked to contact the imams of four specific mosques for registration.
The reward?
The prize for challenge victors will be sex slaves. The act of doling out people as prizes is called “Sibya.” The prizes of the contest will be awarded on the first day of Eid el-Fitr. A slave girl will be awarded to each of the first three winners. Those in fourth to 10th place will be awarded cash prizes.
Where will the reward girls come from?
The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights reported in 2014 that 300 Yazidi girls had been captured in Iraq. The U.K.-based monitoring group said that the girls had been sold to ISIS militants in Syria for $1000.
