Delhi Police Officer Caught On Camera Hitting A Woman With A Brick. Why? Because She Refused To Bribe

Delhi Police are known for their iron backhands, but nothing could have prepared us for this footage of a police officer literally flinging a brick at a woman in broad daylight. The abused woman was stopped for some traffic violation and the police officer allegedly asked for a bribe. On being refused, she claims he started smashing her scooty up and then proceeded to whack her in the back with a brick.

“I was coming from my daughter’s parent-teacher meeting. The policeman asked me for my registration papers and licence and demanded Rs. 200 for jumping the red light. I said I want a receipt but he refused to give it,” the woman said. She alleges that the policeman kicked her scooter and attacked her.

The traffic police constable in question has been suspended from the force pending an inquiry.
