Cricket in our country is nothing short of a religion and cricket players are worshiped as the God himself. Doesn’t matter if it is a city or village, you can find young boys and girls playing cricket in the streets or parks. Like every other sport ever played, there have been some iconic moments in cricket that have been captured forever through photographs. Some of these incredible happenings are listed below which shape the future of Indian cricket.

In 1971 Underdog India defeated the two titans of World Cricket – West Indies and England in their own home soils making its presence felt in the World Cricket. In many way this victory increased moral of Indian team. People in India started taking this game seriously and a new generation of cricketers were now coming to lead the team.
4. Kapil Dev’s unbeaten 175 scripted a fairytale comeback for India v Zimbabwe at the 1983 World Cup.
Kapil Dev, producing one of the greatest ODI innings the world has ever known. India, down and with qualification to the knockouts on the line, needed something special, and Kapil gave it. He made 175 to propel India, revitalized and ready to make their storied run to the World Cup.
